When you are working on a Microsoft Office Software – be it Word, Excel, or Powerpoint, I’d recommend saving the document from time-to-time. Say, every time you update the document, don’t forget to save it. You can also use Ctrl+S to save it.
But what would you do when your Windows system crashes? Then, you don’t have time to save your documents and they are most likely to be lost.
Here, I will tell you how to recover an unsaved MS Word document. Restoring your work was never this easy. This feature is sadly available in Microsoft 2010 only and will allow you to recover the unsaved draft in seconds.
This sample document will be deliberately used to demonstrate how to recover an unsaved document. The demonstration will be sufficient for MS Word, MS Excel and even MS Powerpoint (all of MS Office 2010).
Okay, so when you Word file is accidentally closed without being saved, do not worry and open a new MS Word document. File -> Info -> Manage Versions.
By clicking on the dropdown menu, you can recover an MS Word 2010 document by selecting Recover Unsaved Documents, a MS Excel 2010 document by choosing Recover Unsaved Workbooks and a MS Powerpoint 2010 document by selecting Recover Unsaved Presentations.
MS Word will open the location of the draft copy. Select the draft you need, and then it will be opened in a new MS Word document. Do not forget to save it properly by clicking on File -> Save As this time around.
These copies’ backups are kept for 4 days after which they are dumped to no computer’s land.
The Open and Repair feature could be used when you open the doc. It can repair and then recover the corrupted MS Word documents having troubleshoot issues.
Browse to the following file locations if you are confident enough to open the file manually. Opening it from these locations will also help you recover the unsaved document.
For Windows 7/Windows Vista go to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\<Application_Name>
For Windows XP go to C:\Documents and Settings\<username> \Application Data\Microsoft\<App Name>

I sometimes feel that to download videos Youtube should have come come up with a button besides the video as well.. Of all the HD (or non HD) Youtube videos I see, I wish I was able to download them with ease rather than using any third-party software or plugin. One day, I found out the two most effective ways to download Youtube videos from the net and save it to my computer without the added hassles – one web based (KeepVid), and the other one software based (Real Player).
To download videos from Youtube or any other online source straight to your computer, simply go to Keepvid..
Now, you should copy theYoutube Video URL (which you want to download) and paste it in the URL bar of Keepvid.
Then click on download. Keepvid’s online Youtube downloader functionality will then generate links for you, and you can easily download the Youtube video to your computer. Use “Save Link as” to save the video in the format you’d like to have.

Do you find it tough at times to post a Facebook status within the default limit of 420 characters? As all of you must be knowing that the maximum length of a Facebook Status update is 420 characters currently. If you try posting an update with more than 420 characters in it, you’d see:
“Status updates must be less than 420 characters. You have entered 704 characters here. Notes can be much longer. Would you like to edit and post your update as a Note instead?”
The Noob Diary comes to your rescue whenever you want to post a long status update. Facebook has a little flaw in its wall post which would allow us to post as many characters as we want. Yes, the Facebook status limit can be crossed easily with this trick which we tend to use often but never noticed the unique aspect of it.
Instead of sharing a status, simply “Upload a Photo” :
Step 1: Upload any photo you feel can look good with the desired status update. Don’t ask us whether your status update can have a whole book’s content in it or not as we are yet to try it.
Step 2: Select your photo and then write what all shit you want to write. You just don’t need to care about the so called Facebook status limit of 420 characters now. Do understand that your message will be covered with a “See More” link, but at least you’d get a chance to present your detailed view on your Facebook Wall.
Step 3: Now Click on “Share” Noob!!

2.) You should now enter your PAN/TAN/Assesses code whose validity will be checked online.
3.) If PAN/TAN/Assessee code is found valid then you will have to fill other parts of the challan form and you will have to fill your bank name which allows to pay taxes (ICICI, State Bank of India, Union Bank of India etc.) and through which payment is to be done.
4.) After submission of these details you will get a confirmation screen. After the confirmation you will be directed to your net-banking site of the above mentioned bank by you.
5.) After you login to your bank’s internet banking site, you need to enter the payment details and authorize your payment.
6.) On completion of your payment a challan counterfoil will be displayed having CIN, payment details which include your bank name. This counterfoil is the proof that payment has been made.

Crop the image to fit into the puzzle and enable tap on the phone and the app will solve the Sudoku puzzle for you.
