1.) Select a challan form from NSDL site.

2.) You should now enter your PAN/TAN/Assesses code whose validity will be checked online.
3.) If PAN/TAN/Assessee code is found valid then you will have to fill other parts of the challan form and you will have to fill your bank name which allows to pay taxes (ICICI, State Bank of India, Union Bank of India etc.) and through which payment is to be done.
4.) After submission of these details you will get a confirmation screen. After the confirmation you will be directed to your net-banking site of the above mentioned bank by you.
5.) After you login to your bank’s internet banking site, you need to enter the payment details and authorize your payment.
6.) On completion of your payment a challan counterfoil will be displayed having CIN, payment details which include your bank name. This counterfoil is the proof that payment has been made.
